Bio

John Mikolas was 8 years old when his family immigrated to America on board the Nurnberg. The ship left from Breman, Germany and arrived in Galveston, Texas on November 11, 1880. On board with John where his parents, Johan Mikolas and Rosine Cernoch Mikolas, and his sisters, Rosine (age 14) and Anna (only a few months old).
