Rea, 49, Fresno, Calif., died at 8 a.m. Friday at the Veterans hospital at Fresno. Born June 11, 1912 in Texas, he had resided at Fresno 12 years, formerly living at Broken Bow and Idabel. He was a carpenter, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his father, H. O. Rea, Idabel; two brothers, Elton Rea, Hoston, Texas, and L. C. Rea, with the Navy at San Diego; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Garrett, Hope, Ark., and Mrs. D. V. Gordon, Houston, Texas. Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Friday at the Central Baptist church in Idabel with Rev. L. C. Turner officiating. Arrangements and burial in the Canfield cemetery are under the direction of Norwood-Welch funeral home. McCurtain Gazette February ?, 1962
