Lorraine Adamson Ripple CENTENARIAN 1923 - 2025 Our beloved Lorraine Ripple "Gramma Perk" passed away February 13, 2025. She was born July 1, 1923, in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Fred A. Adamson and Rhea Ellender Stubbs Adamson. Lorraine received her education in the Provo City schools, graduating from Provo High School in 1941. She married her high school sweetheart, Ross Wallace "Wally" Ripple on April 25, 1941, in Heber City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband, Wally, owned and operated their own drive-in together in the Edgemont area of Provo for 64 years. Her love for people was appreciated and she was loved by all who knew her. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life, she filled many callings, both in her ward and stake. She loved doing temple work. Lorraine had a strong belief that life was meant to be of service to others, however, no service stood in the way of her devotion to her family. She enjoyed reading, homemaking, decorating her home, needlepoint, tole painting, and working at Ripple's Drive-In with her family. With Walley, she shared their love for Morgan horses. They raised and showed them horses for 52 years. Lorraine's passing leaves a great void in the lives of many who love her unique zest for life. She is survived by her son, Paul (Sally). She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; daughters: Leslie Riggins (CT) and Sheila Kindler (Keith); and sons: Todd (Marilyn) and Riley Ty.
