Bio
Guyneth Ellen Orvis, 97, of Broken Bow died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Guyneth was born July 19, 1914, in the Thedford - Dunning area to Samuel and Mary (Wooters) Scott. Guyneth was united in marriage to Lysle Orvis. Survivors are: daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Wolsleben of Grand Island, Karen and Larry Millikin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Pamela and William Morse of Seward; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Millie Orvis of Lincoln; brother, Sam Scott of Broken Bow; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. Burial was in the West Union Cemetery, Sargent, NE. Published in The Grand Island Independent on November 17, 2011
