Obit published in Lufkin Daily News, July 15, 1958 Funeral services for George W. Donnell, 78, of Route 1, Huntington, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Odell Baptist Church with Rev. L. M. Westmoreland officiating, assisted by Rev. B. A. Reily. Interment will be in the Huntington Cemetery. Mr. Donnell died Monday night in a local hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Rankin County, Mississippi, on March 3, 1880, and had lived in Angelina County for the last 58 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fleetie Donnell; two sons, Ezra and Leonard Donnell; six daughters, Mrs. Clarence Boyett, Mrs J. P. Womack, Mrs. E. C. Mallett, Mrs. Ira Gabehart, Mrs. Don Gibbs and Mrs. Ben Williams; one sister, Mrs. Dora Sowell; 26 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Gipson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ---------------------------------------------
