Bio

Born as Mary Ann Emanuel, she is the daughter of John and Caroline Emanual. Sister entered into the convent on Sept 8, 1883 and took her vows on May 10, 1884 in Omaha, Nebraska. She spent her religious life as a nursing sister. She was stationed at the order's hospitals in Nebraska (Omaha, Columbus, and Kearney), Indiana, and Colorado (Denver). While she was stationed in Denver, Sister was president of the Rocky Mountain Hospital Association.
