Gregory Kent Rose Gregory Kent Rose, 40, of Clyde, N.C. died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ellisville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chris Wheeler and Rev. Keith Ulmer will officiate. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at Ellisville Funeral Home. Mr. Rose was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Waynesville, N.C. and a volunteer fireman with Fines Creek Fire Department. He was employed with the North Carolina Department of Transportation as a drill tech. He loved hanging out with his son Zachary, fishing and hunting, and he loved his truck and four-wheeling. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Edna Rose, and K.T. and Flora Mae McKenzie. He is survived by son Zachary Forest Rose of Clyde, N.C.; his parents, Ray and Dianne McKenzie Rose of Clyde, N.C.; two brothers, Keith Rose of Clyde, N.C. and Kelvin Rose (Stacey) of Hattiesburg; sister Karen Carter (Ben) of Hattiesburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
