Bio

Phillip Burch Fickling, Age 67, a native of Mobile, AL passed away Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at University of Alabama Medical Center after suffering a stroke. Mr. Fickling was preceded in death by his parents, Everett W. Fickling and Jessie Ruth Burch Fickling; and six brothers, Timothy M. Fickling, Walter E. Fickling, James E. Fickling, Robert W. Fickling, Joseph W. Fickling, and George T. Fickling. He is survived by his four children, Vince Fickling of Grand Bay, AL, Velinda Fickling Hammack of Ozark, MO, Eric Fickling of Grand Bay, AL, Debra R. Fickling McBroom of Defuniak Springs, FL; four siblings, Sarah A. Fickling Jordan and Linda S. Fickling Pope, both of Mobile, AL, Betty R. Fickling Thompson of Foley, AL, and John D. Fickling of Brazoria TX; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Published in the Press-Register from November 7 to November 8, 2011
