Bio

August 16, 1938 - June 13, 2015 Sarah F. Jordan, a lifelong resident of Mobile, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Sarah was retired from AT&T after 18 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leon Jordan; parents, Everette W. Fickling and Jessie Ruth Burch Fickling; brothers, Walter, Bobby, Joe, John, Jim, Tommy, Phillip and Timmy; and son-in-law, Jimmy. She is survived by her two daughters, Patti (Rick) Dacus and Jamie Barron; two sisters, Betty Thompson and Linda Pope; two grandchildren, Jordan Dacus and Casey Dacus; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the visitation to begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements by Ascension Funerals & Cremations, Mobile, AL. Published in the Mobile Register and Baldwin County from June 15 to June 17, 2015
