Annie Mae Willis Funeral services for Annie Mae Willis will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2007 in the Occupy #1 Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Clark and Tony Robinson officiating. Committal services will follow in the Occupy #1 Cemetery. Mrs. Willis, 78 of Many, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 30, 2007 in Lake Charles. She was born on August 31, 1928 to the union of Hadley Thompson and Nellie Perkins Thompson in Pitkin. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church in the Toro Community, a homemaker, loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. Her parents, Hadley and Nellie Thompson; husband, Cranford Willis; son, Cranford Willis, Jr.; sister, Doris Mae Blanchard and brother, D.C. Thompson preceded her in death. She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memories, one son, U.J. Willis and wife June of Oakdale; five daughters, Evelyn McCallon and Wilfred Willis of Oakdale; Rose Martin and husband Byron of Many; Deborra Smith and husband Allen and Charleen Martin and husband Leonard all of Pitkin and Cheryl Nolen and husband Norman of Sugartown; one brother, S.V. Thompson and wife Bobbie of Hull, Texas; one sister-in-law, Lona Mae Thompson of Silsbee, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Shannon Martin, Jason Martin, Clinton Martin, Dustin McCallon, Timmy Houy and Jimmy Bloodsworth. Honorary pallbearers honored to serve will be John Martin and Jr., Allen Lee Smith. Friends may call today from 1:30 p.m. until time of service Monday, at 2 p.m. in the church.
