Obituary: Mrs. J. L. Spence Dead Mrs. J. L. Spence of North Jonesboro died at her home yesterday morning, Thus the last smallpox victim is released by death instead of the health board. Mrs. Spence had been ill for two weeks, and was thought to be doing very well. In fact it was hoped that she would be able to be up and released from quarantine within a few days, but she grew worse and died as stated. We extend our sincere sympathy to this bereaved and stricken family. (Published in The Jonesboro Enterprise on June 27, 1900) Death Notice: Death of Mrs. Spence. Mrs. Spence, wife of James L.
