Gold DNA Crows John Thomas Crow was born abt. 1838 in Tennessee. He was the oldest son of James Crow, born abt. 1812 in South Carolina, and Hester Elizabeth James, born abt. 1818 in North Carolina. His siblings include: Mary Jane Crow Swain (1843-1933) Henry A. Crow (abt. 1844-1849) James L. Crow (1848-1899) America S. Crow Cross (abt. 1852-bet. 1870-1880) Easton Threatmitchell Crow (1855-1947) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He enlisted in the Company A 51st Regiment, Tennessee Infantry on November 16, 1861 in Tipton County, Tennessee. Captains were Edward O. Shelton, William Campbell and included various men from Mount Zion, Tipton County. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He married Calpernia "Callie" Luvena Doyle, daughter of Hardy W.
