I'm not sure which name is correct. See note below. The children's names are listed on Margaretha's memorial. Information from Linda Taborek, #48041476 as follows: Robert had the nickname "Ubbe" and the middle initial G. He was born in Hanover, Preussen, Germany. He and Margaret (aka Margaretha) married May 8, 1862 in Eureka, Woodford County, Illinois. I got all this info from "Descendants of Johann Hinrich Bussbohm" by Gene W. Busboom and many other Busbooms. I don't know how he got there unless maybe he was a foster child of one of the Busboom families. My records show 8 children; however, at least one of those was a foster child. 4-2014 from Amy Robbins-Tjaden I have done extensive research on many Ostfriesen folks over the past 15 years, including the Danekas who originated in Gross Oldendorf, Ostfriesland (now Germany). This "Robert" may not belong to that large family but the surname is not very common and all the ones that I've found were from Ostfriesland or descendants of people from there. Ubbe is an extremely common Ostfriesen name. Robert is not. I can make a reasonable educated guess that Ubbe was his birth name and Robert was the name he chose to go by in the United States of America.
