Bio

Herman Danekas, 80, resident of Milford for 73 years, died at the home of his sons, Elmer H. and Robert G. Danekas in Milford on Tuesday. He was a retired farmer and member of the West Blue Evangelical and Reformed church. Surviving besides his sons are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Sanders, Litchfield, and Mrs. Edna McCormick of Lincoln; three sisters, Mrs. Gus Treu, Mrs. Anna Mell, and Mrs. Etta Busboom, all of Milford; two brothers, Robert and Fred, both of Milford; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at West Blue Evangelical and Reformed Church, Rev. S.E. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
