James Frank Peterson Jr., 80, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011, in Bellevue, Texas. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Jeff Moore officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie. James was born November 3, 1930 to James Frank and Rossie Tennessee (Evans) Peterson Sr., in Munday, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and married Theone Warner on April 24, 1982 in Lewisville, Texas. James was in the car business for over forty years, and worked as a general sales manager at numerous car dealerships before retiring from Larry Slack Ford. He enjoyed gardening and is remembered with love and appreciation for his devoted years of life as a husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Frank and Rossie Tennessee Peterson Sr.; brother, Gaston Peterson; seven sisters, Lois Vieregge, Pansy Smith, Florene Smith, Rita Burleson, Betty Smith, Mernalee Peterson, and Verdine Peterson. James is survived by his wife, Theone Peterson of Bellevue; four children, Grady Peterson and wife, Judy of Flowermound, Kenneth Peterson and wife, Cindy of Sanger, Tammy Peterson of Wichita Falls, and Jeff Stout and wife, Heather of Lubbock; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
