Bio

Lena and her husand Vessie Smith were both custodians at White House Fork School. Lena was remembered as being a real sweet lady, but had a real playful fun side to her also. Her nephew and his wife, David and Alice Quinley, said she made a birthday cake for her husband Vessie. Vessie loved sweets. After Lena baked the cake, she cut the insides out and put cotton balls in it, to play a birthday prank on Vessie.
