Bio

Funeral for Victor Brown, 66, Denison, who died Friday at a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bratcher Funeral Chapel with Tim Atchison officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memory at Colbert,Oklahoma. He was born November 27, 1918 at Hendrix, Oklahoma to James and Agatha Brown. He married Frances Proffitt March 20,1937 in Colbert,Oklahoma. He was the owner and operator of Brown's American Service Station. He was a member of the Mirick Avenue Church of Christ in Denison. Survivors include his wife of Denison; two sons Victor E and Jerry Dean Brown both of Denison; a daughter Cathy Stevens of Denison; a brother Vernon of Durant, Oklahoma; a sister Hazel Parks of Denison and four grandchildren.
