Harold Eugene Smith Son of Willie and Jimmie Marie Hale Smith. Harold Eugene Smith Haltom City - Harold Eugene Smith ,73 a barber,went to be with the Lord on Wednesday,November 8, 2000, at a Haltom City Nursing Center. FUNERAL : 3:30p.m. Saturday at Mount Olivet Chapel, BURIAL : Mount Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. He had a earth angel for nine years Marie Kemp. He was loved by everyone at the convalescent home. He worked ar General Dynamics in the 1940's and 1950's, then he became a Barber and had a shop in Richland Hills --------- ------- Drive, He retired from David Smith Elementery School . He was a resident of Haltom City Convalescent for the last 14 months and has lived in Haltom City for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in San Antonio. He was a member of Haltom Senior Citizens and ------------.He loved to dance and work on cars.He was a member of Victory Assembly of God Church.He was cared for by Hospice.He was preceded in death by his son , Michael Eugene Smith, on December 8,1999. SURVIVORS : wife , Catherine Smith of Haltom City, son Walter Leroy Smith of Springer , New Mexico, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and his faithfull dog, Chico, and sister-in-laws, Mary Pam Pipes, Wilma Mabes and husband,Delon ; and Judy Hackabee.
