Bio

Orlan Edward Reid, 72, of RD2 Clarion died Monday, April 28, 1986, in Clarion Hospital. Born Sept 18, 1913, in Clarion Township, he was the son of the late Edward R. and Alma Kifer Reid. He was married Nov. 22, 1941, to the former Alice Sterrett, who survives. Mr. Reid was retired from C & K Coal Co. He was a member of New Rehoboth-Greenville Presbyterian Church, RD1 Clarion. In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, James E. and Robert O., both of RD2 Clarion; four grandchildren, Daniel, with the U. S. Army in Hawaii, and Stacy, Randy and Ricky of RD 2 Clarion, and tow sisters, Eleanor Crispen of San Mateo, Calif., and Edith Hepler of Apollo. Friends are being received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion, where services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday. The Rev. James Dietrich will officiate. Burial will be in the New Rehoboth-Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
