Eli Gilliland about 71, was buried in Huntington yesterday. Funeral at residence of Dan Ivy, Huntington, interment under auspices of Masonic Lodge; born in Angelina County and lived in eastern portion of same all his life; joined Methodist church at age 16; survived by wife; five children, Mrs. J. E. Sharpe, Mrs. J . E. Walker, Sam Gilliland, and others; sister in Lufkin, Mrs. M. K. Sayers; other near relations in Lufkin, Zavalla, Monterey.
