Married Lena Yvonne Jones Dec 21, 1948 -------------------------------------- Services for Royce (Roy) Delbert Walker, 61, of Huntington, were held Wednesday, August 21 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Forrest and Luther Bolenbarker officiating. Burial followed in Huntington Oddfellow Cemetery. Mr. Walker was born March 9, 1930 in Angelina County and died Thursday. He was a member of the C. A. Fortner Masonic Lodge No. 1304 AF & AM in Channelview. He was a member of the Pipefitters local union No. 211 in Houston and a graduate of Freeport High School. Mr. Walker served in the U. S. Navy and was a Protestant. He had lived in Huntington since 1986 and was formerly of Lake Jackson. Survivors: wife, Yvonne Walker; son, Ron Walker; daughter, Jaye Dennette Berg; 4 grandchildren; mother, Georgia Ivy Walker; brother & sister-in-law, W. A. and Ann Jones and numerous other relatives. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by a son, Donald Gene Walker on December 25, 1984 and his father Wood W. Walker in 1960.
