Bio

Maggie L. Salyers was the daughter of Elbert and Samantha Jane Castle. Her brothers and sisters were: Hendrix B., Susan Ellen Salyers , Dora C., Maggie L., Henry S.,Luther, Orbin Salyers , Walter, and Maude Melissa Salyers Holbrook . Maggie married Walter Hash, son of Maston and Francis Hash, on April 10, 1910 at the age of 21 and they had 7 children. 5 of the children were borned in Va., 1 in Kentucky and 1 in Johnson City, Tn. Her children were Clinton Joseph Hash ,1915, Bonnie Frances Hash Johnson , 1917, Georgia Lorene Hash Presnell , 1919, Edith Pauline Hash Roberts , ,1921, Clyde Marie Hash Daniels , 1923, Dana Vista,1926 and Ernest Elmer,1929. Pauline was borned in Elkorn Kentucky and Ernest was borned in Johnson City.
