According to family history Martha is buried in Isham Cemetery. Her plot was unmarked until 6 June 2015 when a gravestone was added. Martha A. (Holmes) Tidwell, b. 11 Mar 1841, Tishimingo Co., Mississippi; d. 5 July 1912, Handley, Tarrant Co., TX, buried: Isham Cem., John T. White Community, Fort Worth, TX. She has two sons that are buried close to her grave here in Isham Cemetery. Her grave site is the southern most site within the curbed family plot of her son Benjamin Franklin Tidwell (#9591862). The other son, Stephen Jones Tidwell (#9593065) is buried in another nearby family plot. Martha was a twin to Amanda A. (Holmes) Shannon. Some postings incorrectly list her middle name as Amanda. Amanda was her twin sister who married William Hugh Shannon. She should NOT be shown as Martha Amanda. It is likely that her name was Martha Ann but no confirming records have appeared.
