Bio

Billy Ray "Pete" Smith was born January 4, 1940 in Cumby, Hopkins County, Texas (at home!), son of Cyrel Houston Smith & Ruby Ida Chandler Smith. He died October 22, 2011 in Conroe, Montgmery County, Texas with his family at his side. Billy Ray married Barbara Ann Newbourn & together they had 2 children: Pamela Kay & Nathan Smith - all survive him. He is also survived by a brother, Bobby Gene Smith & many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents & sister, Patsy Ruth Smith Musketnuss.
