Wellington Leader February 29, 1968 Mrs. J. A. Leach received word Sunday, February 25, of the death of her twin sister, Mrs. D. M. Stalnaker of Lubbock. She would have been 91 years of age on March 8. Mrs. Stalnaker had been in a nursing home in Lubbock about five years. She and the late Mr. Stalnaker visited in Wellington many times in the early days, and many here knew her. The Former Callie Bell Curtner, she was born in Wise County March 8, 1877. After her marriage, she and Mr. Stalnaker lived in Frederick, OK, then moved to Lubbock many years ago. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Stalnaker was an active worker in the Methodist Church at Lubbock. Survivors are two sons, Wayne Stalnaker of Lubbock and A. G. Stalnaker of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Mrs. Leach and Mrs. Maude Green of Amarillo. Name: Callie B.
