Bio

Funeral services for Ruby Lindemann, 93, of Bartlett were held Nov 26 at St John Lutheran Church with Rev Michael Swink officiating. Burial followed in St John's Cemetery. She died Nov 24, 2006. Ruby Lindemann was born May 27, 1913 to A.C.A. and Elise (Liese) Bruan in Bartlett. She married Egon Lindemann on Sept 29, 1932. Mrs Lindemann worked as a receptionist at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett and as Assistant to the Dean of Women at Texas Lutheran College in Seguin. She was a member of St John Lutheran Church of Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters Olga McKenzie and Nora Wedemeyer; and a brother, Werner Braun. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Janke of Somerville; grandchildren Brenda Jirasek of Taylor, Kim R Janke of Needville, and Leanne Janke of Bryan; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Knauth of Bartlett; and a brother, Fred Braun of Belton. Services by Goodnight Funeral Home.
