FORT WORTH - Vincent John Darino, 80, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Cannon, Michael Neal, Kris Stubsten, Chris Robison, Matthew Redden, and Jonathan Redden. Rosary: 5 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Harveson and Cole Funeral Home. Memorials: His memory may be honored with a gift to The Memorial Fund at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 3717 Stadium Dr., Fort Worth 76133. Vincent was born Aug. 5, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Filomena Greco and Frank Darino. He worked in his father's shoe store during the depression years. He enlisted in the Marines during World War II and was stationed at Eagle Mountain Base. It was during that time that he met and married the love of his life, Le Vern Franko. They celebrated 59 years of marriage. Vincent was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church for 50 years. His kind and loving nature endeared him to his family, friends, neighbors and church family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Lou; and his sisters, Mary Coppolino and Theresa Arcuri. Survivors: His wife, Le Vern Franko Darino; his daughters, Monica Neal and her husband, John, Mary Theresa Cannon and her husband, Roger and Marcia Redden and her husband, Wyatt; grandchildren, Melinda Robison and her husband, Chris, Michelle Neal, Michael Neal and his wife, Angela, Daniel Cannon, Jennifer Stubsten and her husband, Kris, Matthew, Jonathan, Courtney and Veronica Redden; great-grandchildren, Britanny and Kristina Neal, Grayden and Ozlyn Stubsten; brother, John Darino; sisters, Gloria Cook and her husband, John and Eleanor Darino; numerous nieces and nephews.
