Bio
Nicholas Decker was born in Belgium, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Decker, on April 4, 1872 and was 64 years and 8 days old at time of death. When one year old he came with his parents to Appleton where he grew to manhood. Several years following his marriage to Miss Emma Ulman, on Oct. 8, 1895 at Appleton, they moved to their farm about two miles east and one mile south of Dorchester, where they have resided for the last 32 years. Eleven children were born to them, three of whom preceded their father in death. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Aloys House, nee Caroline, Misses Josephine and Anna Decker of Milwaukee; and five sons, ? Hollywood, Calif., Louis of Flint, Mich., Theodore of Cudahy, ? and Lawrence at home. He also leaves his mother Mrs. John Decker, Dorchester; two sisters Mrs. Schumacher, Dorchester and Mrs. Mary Ulman of Buffalo, N.Y.; three brothers, Theodore Decker , Dorchester; William Decker, Athens and ? Decker , Ion Wash.
