Bio

Kathryn Ann Dederichs, 37, a child care provider, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at home. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Memorials: Her memory may be honored with a gift to the Humane Society of North Texas; or the Salvation Army. Kathryn was born Aug. 9, 1967, in Fort Worth. She attended St. Andrew's Catholic School, Star Point, McLean Middle School, and Southwest High School, where she graduated in 1986. She also attended Tarrant County College and Texas Wesleyan University. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and Lodge 92, S.P.J.S.T. Kathryn was preceded in death by her father, Joseph H. Dederichs, III; and her grandparents, Alfred and Eleanor Svacek and Helen Ringler and Joseph Dederichs, Jr. Survivors: Her mother, Mary Jane Svacek Kane and her husband, Joseph C. Kane; her brother, Joseph H. Dederichs, IV, and his sons, Joseph V and Douglass; her sister, Mary M. Dederichs; her aunts, Wilma Marek and Elfie Merenda; her uncle, Charles Dederichs; and many cousins and friends. Published in the Star-Telegram, Fort Worth, Texas – August 3, 2005
