Daniel Lee Grossman, 65, passed away in his home on Friday, April 18, 2008. Funeral services for Mr. Grossman were held on April 21, 2008 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Salado, Father Charles Davis officiating. Rosary services were held at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Daniel passed away in his home on Friday, April 18, 2008 after suffering a long battle with osteosarcoma and chondrosarcoma cancers. Daniel was born on July 10, 1942 in Taylor to Rudolph and Julia Kasparek Grossman of Granger. He married Georgia Kaderka Pacha on September 19, 1967. He worked in maintenance at Stagecoach Inn in Salado until his illness caused him to retire in 2007. Mr. Grossman was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Salado, the Holland SPJST and the Holland Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents and one great grand-daughter, Courtney Denise Gommert. Survivors are his wife, Georgia Pacha Grossman; two daughters, Keisha Grossman Moore and husband James of Richland Springs and Georgana Pacha Gommert and husband Ronnie of Holland; one son, Bill J. Pacha of Holland; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Rudy Grossman and wife Estelle of Temple; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. Services by Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.
