Bio

Grew up on the family farm between Dannebrog and Nysted and graduated from Dannebrog High School in 1940. After graduation, she worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C. before returning to Dannebrog. Married Raymond Larson on March 12, 1950, at Loup City. They lived in Loup City for two years, then moved to Grand Island and also lived in the Alda area. Survived by her husband, Raymond; three sons, Charles of Jonestown, Texas, Mark of Thornton, Colo., and Duane of Grand Island; one sister, Mrs. Joyce Lemburg of Farwell; and two brothers, Clyde Mortensen of Council Bluffs and Neils Mortensen of Clarks, Mo. Preceded in death by her parents.
