ORA McDONALD A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 1996, in Sandy Funeral Home for Ora Marie McDonald who died Dec. 28 at age 83. Mrs. McDonald was born Feb. 28, 1913, in North Loup, Neb. Her maiden name was Leach. She moved to Oregon in 1937, first settling in Parkdale and Hood River before moving to Sandy in 1957. She married Ray in 1938. He died in 1992. Survivors include her sons, Gary of Portland and Richard of Sandy; daughters, Loretta Hoard of Lostine, Evelyn Proctor and Dolores Morrison, both of Sandy, and Donna McDonald of Milwaukie; brother, Orville Leach of Portland; sisters, Byrnece Stevens of Ord, Neb., and Ava Posta of North Loup; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Boring. The family suggests remembrances to Portland Adventist Hospice. Published in The Oregonian, Dec 31, 1996. Her parents were Harry J. and Lidia I. Leach of Nebraska.
