Bio

Adelbert Smith was born in 1904 to William Thomas and Margaret Ella Crompton Smith. His brothers and sisters were Myrtle Marie Smith, Olivery Clyde Smith, William Robert Smith, Carl David Smith, Kenneth Edward Smith, Mark Everett Smith, Robert Glen Smith, and Lillie Smith. Adelbert married Della Doyle born in 1908 and they married on July 7, 1925 in Provo, Utah. Together they had 5 children, with 4 boys and one daughter. Adelbert Doyle Smith 1926, Ronald Glen Smith 1929, Max James Smith 1931, Ralph Legrande Smith 1934, and Doris Delora Smith(Cook) 1940. Adelbert was a shepherd and this was his vocation of his youth and for his life. He knew everything there was to know about raising sheep. Adelbert died in 1988 in American Fork, Utah, and was buried in the American Fork Cemetery.
