REST IN PEACE CIVIL WAR VETERAN GREGORY, John M., Co. A, 48th Kentucky Infantry At the age of 24 he enlisted in service of U.S. Army for period of one year and later enlisted for another year, 10 July 1863 and in 1864 enlisted again. Rose from private to captain. Served 48th Ky. Regt.
