Bio
Mildred Pouzar Bouska, 87, passed away at the Ennis Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Mildred was born in Bardwell, Texas on June 24, 1924 to Joe F. and Rosie (Ratmejer) Pouzar. She grew up in Bardwell and graduated from Bardwell High School in 1942. On November 8, 1947 she married Albin Bouska; they made their home in Ennis. She worked as a seamstress for Donovan-Galvate and Liter Manufacturing. She also worked at Fine Line Ribbon and for the Ennis Independent School District. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, SPJST # 25 and served as a youth leader for many years. Mildred loved to sew, work in her yard and cook for her family and friends. She was an amazing role model and a wonderful example of love and kindness. Mildred always unselfishly managed to put others before herself and was deeply loved. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Albin Bouska of Ennis; son: Danny Bouska and his wife Jill of Fort Worth; daughter: Diane and her husband Phil Bronson of Ennis; two grandchildren: Kyle and Kelsi; three great grandchildren: Acenith, Kysen and Ayden; her sister Ella Patak of Ennis and Brother Leslie Pouzar and his wife Trisha of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild, Zayne. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. A Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Kyle Bouska, Tim Carr, Bill Carr, John Patak, Robert Pouzar and Frank Pouzar. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
