OBITUARY April 11, 1956 "Sulphur Springs News-Telegram" Sulphur Springs, Texas Alice Josephine Littrell, 89, a resident of Hopkins County since 1892, succumbed Tuesday evening at the home of her son, Roscoe Brown, in Sulphur Springs. Graveside rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Ridgeway Cemetery. Rev. Irby will officiate and Tapp Funeral Home will direct arrangements. She was a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama. Survivors are her son, Roscoe Patterson Brown of Sulphur Springs; and her step-children, Della Mae Tice, James Andrew Littrell, and John Franklin Littrell.
