Bio
Charles Allen Smith was born Jan. 4, 1910 in Rockland, Power County, Idaho. Charles married Wilma Shirley Roberts Blair in Las Vegas, Nevada April 5, 1941. They made their home in California's Mojave Desert for several years before moving to American Falls, Idaho in 1950. Wilma and Charles had three children together, Shirley, Barbara and Harry Smith and Charles was a loving stepdad to Wilma's four children, Peggy, John, Eleanor and Darwin Blair. Charles died in American Falls, Idaho on July 26, 1984, and is buried in Valley View Cemetery in Rockland, Idaho. Surviving him were his wife, Wilma of 43 years, his daughters, Shirley Smith Olander and Barbara Smith Brunk and son, Harry Smith all of Idaho; his four stepchildren, Eleanor Blair Dlabaj of Ennis, Texas; Peggy Blair Parrish, John E. Blair and Darwin W. Blair all of American Falls and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
