Abstract The Banner Press April 13, 2000 Funeral services for Marie Agatha (Kutra) Hosak, 90, of Frydek were held at St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek with the Rev Bernard Snock officiating. Burial followed at St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek. She died April 2 in Katy. She was born Oct 21, 1909 in Frydek,the daughter of John and Anna (Vesely) Kutra. She married Frank Hosak on Oct. 16, 1928 in Frydek. She was raised in Frydek and attended St Mary's Catholic School. She was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek and member and secretary for 50 years with KJZT in Frydek. She enjoyed baking and was in charge of baking kolaches for the Frydek Grotto Celebration for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Mary L. Hosak; parents; 4 sisters, Rosie and Louise Novosad, Albina Vancik and Annie Bogar; 2 brothers, Joe and Willie Kutra; and a grandson Mark Chalupa. Survivors include 3 daughters, Bea and husband Ed Chalupa of Frydek, Charlotte and husband Lawrence Liska of League City, Mary and husband Michael Tydlacka of Rosenberg; 2 sons, Frank and wife Janis Hosak of Houston, Ben Hosak of Frydek; and 9 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Patrick Chalupa, Dyron Durham, Marcus Gonzales, Larry and Randy Liska, Joe Novosad and Jonathan and Nicholas Tydlacka. Funeral handled by Knesek Family Funeral Chapel of Sealy. Patricia Mlcak Bagwell Maries is my grandmother's sister 23 November 2022
