Arthur James Morton Arthur James Morton, 58, of Pleasant Grove, died July 30, 1988 at his home following a long illness. He was born May 26, 1930 in Lehi, Utah to Lawrence James "Bus" and Gertrude Fox Morton. He married Mary Lou Hooley December 29, 1964. He spent his childhood days in Lehi and attended schools there. He served in the Army as a clerk typist. He later followed the Rodeo circuit as a stock rider. He was employed as a General Foreman for Gibbons and Reed in Salt Lake City and later as a Superintendent for Granite Construction in California. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; his mother of Lehi; 4 sons: Douglas Hooley and Roland Hooley, Pleasant Grove; LaRoy Hooley, Lehi; Ruland Hooley, Huntington, Utah; 19 grandchil dren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Roger F. Morton, Tooele; Robert L. Morton, Mrs. Westley (Joyce) Turner, Mrs. Gerald (Cynthia) Johnson all of Lehi; Vesta Jean Olsen, Converse, Texas. Graveside services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary of Pleasant Grove.
