Cecil James Maddux age 89 of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on October 1, 2011 at home. He was born on October 18, 1921 in Angelina County Pollok Texas to parents Roy and Gertrude Maddux. He is survived by his children, Linda Hollingsworth, Dennis Maddux, Laurie Ayscue and husband James; grandchildren Malinda Thurman and husband Bryan, Dina Clary and husband John, and Christopher Maddux; great grandchildren Allison and Kristin Clary. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friday October 7, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to the DAV or the American Heart Association . Sunset Funeral Home
