Elva Louise Red Untermeyer July 19, 1928  -  March 31, 2014 Elva Louise Red Untermeyer Obituary Elva Louise "Red" Untermeyer, 85, of Columbus, Texas passed away on March 31, 2014 in Columbus. She was born on July 19, 1928 to Roy E. and Elvie (Preddy) Maddux in Houston, Texas. Many years ago, Red was the owner and operator of Red's Parlor and lived her lifetime in Columbus. She is survived by a nephew, Dennis Maddux, and a niece, Laurie Ayscue. Red was preceded in death by her parents, brother Cecil James Maddux, and niece Linda Hollingsworth. Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, 1:00 pm at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Columbus, TX, with Rev. Victor Morrison officiating. Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice.
