Moberly Monitor-Index, Moberly, Missouri, March 3, 1952, Monday page 4 L.B. CLEETON DIES AT 74; FUNERAL WILL BE WEDNESDAY L.B. Cleeton, 74, retired farmer, died at 8:40 o'clock this morning at his home, 811 Cleveland Avenue, following an illness of several days. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Joe, Jack and John Cleeton, all of Moberly; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ernest Crosswhite, Moberly, and Mrs. Glen Harleson, San Pablo, California, four grandchildren, Doris Ann, Lonnie Joe, Marily Jeanette and Jackie Wayne Cleeton; five step-grandchildren; and a brother, Starling Cleeton, Moberly. Mr. Cleeton, born in Higbee, lived in Moberly and vicinity practically his entire life. He was married February 14, 1901, to Miss Anne Yager, who died May 2, 1944, and on March 20, 1947, was married to Mrs. Mary Featherson. He was a member of Central Christian Church and of its board of deacons. The body will be in Mahan Funeral Parlors until services at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Central Christian church by the pastor, the Rev. A. E. Landoff. burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
