Rites Wednesday For T. M. BROWN Funeral for Thomas Moore BROWN Jr., 63, of 3142 S. 23rd., who died at 7:45 a.m. Monday in Shady Oaks Lodge, where he had been a patient, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Lloyd MAYHEW, pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park. Mr. BROWN was born Sept. 17, 1905, in Sunset, N. M. He married Verna GLASS in Dallas, Aug. 2, 1925, and they moved to Abilene in 1940. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; one son, don of 5333 Harwood; his mother, Mrs. T. M. (Martha) BROWN of 1018 Marshall; four brothers, T. B. of 1717 S. Willis, B. G. of 2600 Ivanhoe, J. L. of Houston and Paul Andrews of Bryson; three grandchildren. The family will be at the Don BROWN home, 5333 Harwood. Abilene Reporter-News (Abilene, TX) - Tuesday, July 8, 1969
