Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the Deport Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tom Foley officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery by Wood Funeral Home of Deport. Mrs. Wood was born April 27, 1913, in Coleman County, Texas, a daughter of Henry and Neatie Ann Taylor Trammel. She married James Alexander Wood in Paris on March 10, 1937. He died Feb. 3, 1978. Surviving are three daughters, Brenda McEntyre of Paris; Yvonne Gray of Pattonville and Neatie Wood of Arlington-three sons, Kenneth Wood and William Wood, both of Paris and James Wood of Pattonville; three brothers, Andrew Trammel and Jimmy Trammel, both of Childress, and C.O. Trammel of Amarillo; three sisters, Margaret Welch, Laverta Mahan and Stella Mahan, all of Childress; 10 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Carol Wood.
