Bio
Lizzie Coraine Hazlewood, 83, of Lott, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, in a Temple hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church in Lott. The Rev. Bill Perdue will officiate. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Lizzie was born in Lorena, Texas, to the late Donald P. and Lizzie M. Kamman Parker. She lived in the Lott area most of her life. Lizzie married Andrew Hazlewood in February of 1948. She retired from the Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Waco. Lizzie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lott and First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Hazlewood, of Lott; son, Paul Drew Hazlewood, of Lott; daughter, Donna Taylor and husband, John, of Madisonville; brother, Calvin Parker, of Waco; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
