MRS. VELMA JOHNSON Mrs. Velma Johnson, 81, of Huntsville died about 3:30 a.m. Saturday at 805 South Clark street here where she made her home. She was the daughter of Robert F. and Nannie Wright, born in Chariton County. Surviving are a son, George Robert Johnson; Huntsville; two daughter, Mrs. Herman Winkler, Moberly, and Mrs. WInifred Baught Moberly; brother, Russell Wright, Salisbury; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She and her husband, who preceded her in death, operated a store at Thomas Hill a number of years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Moberly. The funeral was to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville, with Rev. Durard Scott officiating.
