Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Mon, 8 Feb 1993, page A2, Obituaries, Betty Smith MIDLAND - Services for Betty Lou Smith of Midland will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Mrs. Smith died Sunday at a Midland hospital. She was born on May 29, 1935, in Greenville, where she was reared. She married Billy Ray Smith in April 1952 in Greenville and moved to Midland the same year. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Smith of Midland; two sons, Robert Earl Smith of Spring and Timmy Ray Smith of Midland; two daughters, Sheila Rae Way and Tammy Kay Smith, both of Midland; a brother, Charles Rudd of Greenville; and five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Allison Care Center in Midland.
