Bio

Alexander first married Elizabeth Wadsworth on 29 of Sept 1839 in Lexington, Davidson, NC. Elizabeth died in 1849 and Alexander remarried years later on Oct. 29, 1885 in Rowan Co., NC Cassandra(Cassie) Trotter. In 1850 the parents and first three children were living at the Northern Division, Davidson County, North Carolina. In 1860 the parents and all three children were living at Rowan County, (Salisbury Post Office), North Carolina. In 1870 ALEXANDER, ELIZABETH, ROMULUS, a KATE EDWARDS (age 21, a servant) and a ROSWELL HAYNES (age 7) were living at Franklin Township, Rowan County, North Carolina. In 1880 ALEXANDER was living alone at Franklin Township, Rowan County, North Carolina. * If you look at the 1880 census, Alexander is at the bottom of a page. Elizabeth is at the top of the next page. There are no house numbers by her name. I believe they were living together.

Have not been able to prove Alexander is buried here but his sons and second wife are so unless I find out different I am leaving him here.
