Survived by sons, Max Metzler, Jr., Houston, Richard Ray Metzler, Livingston, Mrs. Jeanine Jones, Baytown, Mrs. Lydane Byrd, Doucette, Texas, Mrs. Linda Gouner, Baytown; sister, Mrs. Emma Cole, Lake Whitney, five grandsons.
