Robert Charles Traughber Robert Charles Traughber was the son of Robert Franklin Traughber and Lottie Christine Adair Traughber Thompson. Services Set For Accident Victim Services for Robert Charles Traugnber, 15, victim of a hit-and-run accident early Wednesday near Chattannooga[sic], will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Becker Memorial chapel with Rev, T. K. Davis, pastor of the Assembly of God church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Robert was returning from a visit in the home of an uncle, Worley Adair, at Detail, N.M., when the accident occurred. With him was a cousin, (name withheld for privacy), also of Lawton, who was seriously injured in the accident. Young (name withheld for privacy) was brought to a local hospital Wednesday night from Frederick, where he was first taken after the accident. Highway patrol officials are still engaged in investigating the accident, which occurred on Highway 36 southwest of Chattanooga early Wednesday. Robert Traughber was born Jan. 17, 1930 in Lawton. He attended Anadarko and Lawton junior high schools last year and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 72 sponsored by the First Baptist church here. Members of the troop will attend the services in a body. Survivors are the boy's mother, Mrs. Everett Thompson, 1515 D.; the father, R. F. Traughber, 309 Lee; a half-sister, Rhodell Thompson, 5, and half-brother, (name withheld for privacy), both of the home address, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. C. A. Traughber, 1213 E.
